ProgenyHealth® Appoints Sherry Anderson as Company President


Plymouth Meeting, PA, July 10, 2019 – ProgenyHealth, LLC, provider of comprehensive utilization management, case management, and payment integrity solutions for NICU populations, today announces the appointment of healthcare executive, Sherry Anderson, to the position of company president. ProgenyHealth’s integrated services enable health plans and large employers to improve health outcomes and reduce claims costs in the care of premature and medically complex infants.

In this role, Ms. Anderson will be responsible for all aspects of ProgenyHealth’s business operations and strategic planning. With seventeen years of experience in the healthcare industry, Ms. Anderson brings significant depth of expertise in the application of technology and complex operational decision-making to achieve rapid, profitable business growth. She has a proven record of success leading operations, business development, strategic customer and partner relationship creation, and SaaS technology integrations.

Prior to joining ProgenyHealth, Ms. Anderson served as Senior Vice President of Business Solutions at Continuum Health, a Managed Services Organization. She also held the position of Vice President and General Manager of Health Plan Solutions at Availity, LLC, the nation’s largest real-time health information network, where she directly managed and grew a business portfolio valued at over $100 million. Ms. Anderson also held several other operational leadership roles at Availity, including the position of Vice President of Alliance Management and Chief of Staff to the CEO.

Ms. Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University. She also has formal training as a database administrator and systems engineer.

Ellie Stang, MD, ProgenyHealth’s founder and former President, will continue to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
