Sean Lenahan is Head of Portfolio Operations at Sunstone Partners. Sean brings deep experience scaling founder-led and growth stage businesses.

Prior to joining Sunstone Partners, he served as an Operating Partner at several growth equity funds, including Riverside and Bregal Sagemount, where he partnered with portfolio company leadership to accelerate growth, transforming several companies in the process.  Earlier in his career, he served twice as CEO in global software and tech-enabled services businesses leading them to successful exits. 

Sean began his career as an engineer and management consultant and holds a B.S. in Astronautical Engineering from the US Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
