Nestor Olmo is the CFO of Sunstone Partners.

Prior to joining Sunstone in 2023, Nestor was the CFO/CCO at Butterfly Equity, a U.S. investment firm focused on the food sector for four years. Prior to Butterfly Nestor worked at Marlin Equity Partners as their VP of Finance and Accounting, where he provided support to the Finance & Accounting team with a focus on fund accounting, management company operations and reporting. Prior to his time at Marlin Equity Partners, Nestor gained additional private equity experience by spending four years at Ares Management as a Vice President, seven years at H.I.G. Capital in the firm’s finance department and four years at KKR as a Senior Accountant. Nestor began his career at Deloitte in the firm’s audit practice in the alternative assets group.

Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Nestor earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Pace University.
