Michael Koenig is a Vice President at Sunstone Partners and is involved in sourcing, deal execution and portfolio monitoring.

Before joining Sunstone Partners in 2023, Michael was a Senior Associate at Chicago Pacific Founders, where he focused on investing in healthcare services and healthcare technology businesses. Prior to Chicago Pacific Founders, Michael was focused on investing in healthcare and business services companies as an Associate at Prairie Capital. Michael began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at William Blair.

Raised in Highland Park, Illinois, Michael earned a BS in Finance and International Businesses from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
